John Goto

John Goto was born in 1949 Stockport, England. He is a British artist best known for his photo-digital artworks, notably coming to wider attention with the 'High Summer' section of his Ukadia series of pictures. Goto has worked with historical. social and political subjects throughout his career.
John Goto began using computers in his work in the early 90's with a series made in Russia entitled 'The Commissar of Space'. Here are some of my favorite examples of John Goto's artwork:

<-- I like the way that John Goto has put this image together he has created it by using all of the different objects from magazine scans and photographs that he has taken to collage the whole image together to make it look as though its a real image he has taken.

John Goto creates his images as though he is telling some sort of story, although you can tell that most of his images have been photoshopped each image that he creates are also very bright and stand out as he uses contrasting images with each other and collages them all together.
